My process is to cut 5"strips from one piece just over 30" wide. This means there is only a small excess of plastic on the last strip, about 1/2 inch outside the blade. Never had a problem with it - the Amana blade cut the last strip just like the rest. But recently I decided to give it a try. some other blades and I bought a "plastic" Diablo blade and this Freud blade. Diablo, which cost a lot less than this Freud, worked perfectly. This Freud also works as long as you cut down the middle of the leaf. When you get to the edge of the sheet, it violently grabs the plastic and rips it off the table, leaving a torn edge and rendering this strip unusable. Obviously I can't use this blade to cut this plastic so I think I'll save it for finishing softwood.
