Average quality, not a great product.

my very first camera. satisfied, but with time, its degree has gone beyond. Now that I've given it to my pals, I've switched to the A7III full frame and taken the 6300 in its place. In my opinion, Sony is a hero for having made significant technological advancements in the field of digital photography. The 6400 is an almost ideal camera, with the possible exception of stabilization, therefore if you have the cash, I would advise purchasing it right now. 6000 appears moist against its backdrop. You might want to look at the 6100. Although the 6100 boasts 4K video, a touchscreen, a swivel screen, a minijack input for a microphone, and improved focusing, it is, regrettably, in a different price range. For this, a really decent camera costs $40 new and $25 used.

Pros
  • I've been using it since 2022 as an entry-level camera for both photographs and videos. - Performs effectively in automatic mode - Is lightweight and small - Interchangeable lenses: you can begin collecting and later upgrade to an older model. What's up, no built-in flash - It shoots reasonably well in low light, up to ISO 1600–2022 - The capacity to upload photos and even movies from your phone to social networks right away. - Effective autofocus system. Even the eyes have autofocus, and the follower is effective. - Maximum resolution for the matrix is 6000x4000 pixels, similar to prior generations. - Good lenses and a great picture. My gear includes the Zeiss 16-70 4.0, Samyang 12 2.0 (manual, landscape, and astrophoto), and Sigma 56 1.4 (portrait, good in pictures but terrible on focusing) (zoom, does not fully justify its price, a little dark) - Trustworthy Hardly barely rubbed at all for 4 years, but fought qualities were intact. He lived with him and took fantastic astrophotos with a Samyang lens while they were in the desert, in -30 degree cold, and on the beach. The northern lights and meteors I saw were both amazing. An excellent camera for beginners, albeit the previous models, the 6400 and possibly the 6100, are substantially superior. The reason for the low ranking is simply that, when compared to prior versions, this one's flaws are obvious.
Cons
  • - No input for a microphone. There are no other options, so I used the on-camera Sony on a hot shoe to improve the camera's audio. - No output for headphones - Heat buildup. This is a significant issue when trying to write hour-long concerts and performances because the camera will overheat and stop working in the middle. The 6300 currently has essentially no such issue. While recording video, pull the screen away from your body, put your camera in airplane mode, and utilize a cage (for rigging videographers) to dissipate heat. Thus while it lasts a little longer, extended continuous video recording is still not guaranteed (two-hour concert). Because there is no standard 16:9 aspect ratio, you cannot submit a video on Instagram Stories in mp4 mode without it distorting. Other camera video codecs do not have this issue, but they do need to be post-processed in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere, and occasionally you want to upload the video to a social network without post-processing. Although you may insert video straight from the camera into an Instagram post, you'll need to be registered in order to use Instagram stories. The screen is not touch-sensitive. does not revolve 360 degrees There is a problem because there is dust on the matrix. I always bring a pear and blow the dust off. Battery life is short. I usually took 3–4 outfits with me when traveling; if you need to write a video for 2 hours, you should have a spare. - No S Log or slow motion video modes. Timelapse in a different application shows that Whale 16-50 is mediocre. It is preferable to look at prime lenses like Sigma, Samyang, or Tamron right away. Although the picture will be good, the proprietary autofocus only functions with Sony lenses, hence you might overpay for Zeiss when purchasing external lenses.
