Review on Nikon 35mm f/1.8G Auto Focus Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras - Black (Model 2183) by Wiktor Lisowicz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

I purchased a D3100 kit with an AF-S DX 18-55 VR lens, and I am sorry that I did not take an AF-S D bodysuit with a +35mm f/1.8G lens right away (watch out, don't tread on my rake). Has pros: I bought the lens as an indoor portrait to replace the whale 18-55 (to take a picture of a child and a wife, of course: D), well, what can I say, just earth and sky, my wife was delighted and said - "this is exactly what I wanted to get from a DSLR ". The photos are very sharp with beautiful bokeh, and the process itself is becoming more interesting. The depth of field at the minimum focal length is probably five or six centimeters, and then blurring already begins. I started using manual settings intensively, and the creative process has begun. If the outcome is virtually the same whether the whale lens is set to automatic or manual mode, then there are opportunities to experiment both with where and what to do so. Has drawbacks: I couldn't locate them. The only negative of this lens is that it has caused the whale lens to be stored away in a case, which may indicate that I do not have sufficient expertise or that I have not yet tried something that is superior.
