Laced up correctly these shoes are great for walking. However, if you slip them on and off without regularly tightening the laces, your foot will not fit properly and you will not be able to take full advantage of the comfortable insole and heel cushioning. Updated 08/22/20. In use, the padding inside the boot on the left heel didn't hold up at all, leaving a heel-sized hole in the "cushioning foam" of that part of the boot. I will not buy this pair again.
