Works great 800F in 15 minutes. Once assembled, completely fill the firebox with wood pellets (Traeger mix worked in my case). Don't fiddle with a lighter, use a butane torch to light. Heat it with the door closed and the chimney draft wide open. You need an infrared time cannon. Remove the door and read in the center of the stone for 10 minutes. You can start making pizza at 700f, keep an eye on the door every 30 seconds, and keep your firebox full of chips. It's a back and forth dance, but what's it worth! Make your own batter for best results.
