Great pizzas at home

Awesome! Once we set the right temperature, the pizza turned out great. You will need an infrared thermometer to check the temperature and keep feeding pellets to keep the flame going.

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Write later

Control the fire and give it enough time to heat up.

In general I am very satisfied with the purchase, it takes a little getting used to, the main thing is to learn how to control the fire. Be careful with the pizza turner, it broke unexpectedly easily the second time I used it. If I were designing I would use a 3/4" diameter pizza stone and then place a small metal fan on top of the PWM stove to blow lightly on the fire. I hope they replace my instrument.

Pros
  • Super for me
Cons
  • Periodicity

Great for making pizzas

Heats up as fast as a domestic oven but bakes pizza in just a minute. I found that the easiest way to turn a pizza halfway is to use 2 slices of pizza. Just pull it out and put it on another roll and right back again. Can't wait to try it with other foods like steaks and burgers. I will be cooking and baking pizza outside all summer to keep my house cooler, no oven inside to warm my house in hot weather.

The concept is there, the performance is not

I will not buy again. The concept is great and the rotating pizza stone is amazing. But. You have to constantly refill pellets, smoke like an old man with a cigar, soot pizza like a coal-fired power plant and send smoke signals like an Indian in an emergency. I like the idea, but this one isn't for me. I will look for a gas model and hope this is a step forward. Let's see if anyone wants to buy this on eBay.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great oven but needs learning

Works great 800F in 15 minutes. Once assembled, completely fill the firebox with wood pellets (Traeger mix worked in my case). Don't fiddle with a lighter, use a butane torch to light. Heat it with the door closed and the chimney draft wide open. You need an infrared time cannon. Remove the door and read in the center of the stone for 10 minutes. You can start making pizza at 700f, keep an eye on the door every 30 seconds, and keep your firebox full of chips. It's a back and forth dance, but…

Fire control can be a bit tricky

Two issues need to be addressed. The lid broke the first time I took it out of the oven. The case is light and cheap. Needs to be updated to be more durable. I can't seem to make a fire right. I'm not sure how many pellets to put in so you don't have to keep tossing them. Once you have the right fire, it works like a dream. I guess I just need some advice on the right amount of pellets. It took me a little longer to prepare each of the pizzas. 2 to 3 minutes. We had our first flight on a Friday

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Volume

Difficult to maintain temperature

Of course, if you use a pizza oven, you must learn how to put in a pizza, start a pizza, and take out a pizza. If you can successfully complete these steps, you still may not be able to make a good pizza in this oven. Since pellets are used as fuel, pellets must be constantly fed in order to keep the temperature high enough. Any wind on the day you cook will stop all pizza production. The stove is too sensitive to wind changes, causing the stove to lose heat and smoke heavily. Don't think that…

Great purchase, great addition to my outdoor kitchen

Really enjoyed eating this pizza instead of joining the family outdoors. This oven (I named it Kylo) matches my other grills, Vader and Luke. There's a learning curve. I started with wood chips. I was successful but inconsistent. I figured it would be like my grills and kamados would light up one day and keep that temperature at that temperature for hours. I learned my first lesson, you gotta keep feeding the beast. You have to be careful and constantly fuel it. After figuring out a few things…
