Always a fan of Strathmore paper - great range of colors and perfect paper shrinkage - I only received this notebook as an add-on, I do NOT normally buy any type of paper. Glued Back Sketchbook - I used a notepad for 5 minutes to do a quick sketch - I went to get it the next day and it was already peeled off and papers peeled off. It's ok as I can use the portfolio to put paper in it. If you are really looking for a notebook/drawing book, I ALWAYS recommend using a spiral or thread bound book. Even with perforated pages, you decide to take your sketch out of your book. The ONLY reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because the paper is held together with glue, otherwise the paper is excellent quality and is great for use with any type of charcoal from pencils to sticks.
