Not as good as the MAM AIR pacifiers - issues with moisture

I have been using the MAM AIR pacifiers for my son since he was an infant. He's now 1.5 and will only take MAM pacifiers. I decided to give this design a try, but I didn't love it. As with all of the MAM pacifiers, it is a two piece design. With that, water, saliva and all sorts of wet things can get into the nipple part of the pacifier. This is detrimental for two reasons:1. When he's really drooling (let's face it, that's 80% of the time), the skin around his mouth is usually wet and the guard part of this pacifier covers a little too much skin for my liking. I noticed that he started getting some eczema around his mouth.2. To me, this just seems like a breeding ground for bacteria. It does come with a handy, microwaveable sanitizer, but that doesn't totally satisfy my distaste. (However, this is an overall MAM pacifier issue)So overall, I will go back to the MAM AIR pacifiers.

Pros
  • Just know these are meant for a teething baby. They’re shaped weird for their teeth.
Cons
  • Could potentially cause nipple collapse
