I recently bought an Air Lift 1000 for our 1989 Winnebago Elanda. The old airlifts were shot down when we bought the device. After cutting out the old ones with a saw, we were ready to install new blocks. After a little research on the internet I decided to remove the front wheels and use a vacuum pump to remove all the air from the new air lift pads. Installation was very easy this way. It fits snugly on an older P-30 Chev. Chassis coil spring up front, I don't think we'd have a good time trying to install them any other way. We just completed a 2,000 mile journey through British Columbia and the Rocky Mountains. We're amazed at the different handling and lack of jerks over the bumps and dips of the old roads. RV no longer rolls back and forth. My only regret is that I didn't replace the old blocks sooner. Another important note: The above description of Revain is incorrect. These Air Lift 1000 #81560 are for front springs, not rear springs as above.
