They're great for fruit, though.
I have a kennel and he figured out how to remove the bolt (twice). The bolts are so small I can't see where he's throwing them - I'm on my third set of skewers now. I'll look at Home Depot for other screw options that my bird can't get out. Skewers are great for strawberries and other pieces of fruit.
