Victim of my own success

Definitely the most favorite lard I've ever put in my backyard in Colorado. The number of birds this attracts is overwhelming. A few minutes ago I had over 10 tits huddled around one and saw many magpies, blue jays, northern flickers (woodpeckers), common grackles, mourning doves, finches and sparrows stopping to feast on this cake. I honestly can't resist. a whole cake in the feeder for a whole day from sunrise to sunset. You break it. If I refilled it every time they use it, I would use up…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Having troubles

Great product, the birds love it but prices are better elsewhere now.

Slightly more expensive but not held together with wax so it doesn't drip into your head. But be careful, you have to buy a lot of it. I've had different types of birds nibble on it, from woodpeckers to blue jays, starlings and even smaller birds like finches, titmice and more. Once I even saw a little black squirrel hanging upside down on the fence and eating holes in the lard cage. This type of sweat wears out quicker than any other type I buy. Note to Revain: While I don't want to name names

  • nice stuff

The birds love it! for birds

I live in Southern California and love using this grease, especially in the winter. It's quite cold here this winter and I want to make sure my little wild birds are getting enough calories to keep warm! I keep one in a wire cage, but I also started grinding/grating it into a seed that I have on my plate. Finches and sparrows love it, but I have mourning and ring doves that I wanted to supply extra calories to as well (after googling if it's safe for pigeons!). One of the ringnecks has a bad…

Our neighbor birds love it

I used to buy Peanut Delight at a local store but we save about 10% by buying in bulk here. The birds here absolutely love this stuff. I have a lard feeder, a regular seed feeder (using oil sunflower seeds) and a watering station. Currently I have to refill the lard feeders every day because they suck up the stuff. I've tried many different flavors of lard and Peanut Delight is the most popular. We have plenty of thrushes, tits, nuthatches and woodpeckers on lard, as well as European starlings…

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Expensive

The best grease I've found so far

I have bought this lard several times over the last few years for my garden feeder. I have also bought other brands. I like this C&S brand the most. Others are oilier/oilier or don't take the Florida heat well (even if they say they're melt resistant). Also, birds don't seem to be as attracted to the other types of sweat I've tried, and they linger much longer. Eventually I bought other costumes that turned out to be bug infested. Even after storing the lard for weeks or months, I still haven't

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
