Was a little nervous because of all the bad reviews. If you install properly (USE THE ANCHORS) they will not pull apart the first time you use them. DO NOT USE the "stick on" brackets. There is no reason anyone should even attempt that silly idea of hanging, plus all the brackets are plastic.da wha why? USE the METAL clips, screw em in with the provided anchors and all will be ok.I got the 35" which fit nicely inside my 35.25" window however the actual shade is 33.25" so I ended up with just about an inch on either side. I guess that's to be expected when hanging "inside" the window frame. Not a huge deal but something to think aboutYOU MUST USE THEM GENTLY. Which is not hard to do. There's no reason to yank 'em the mech is actually pretty smooth, But I can see the plastic parts potentially coming apart if you're not careful. You get what you pay for with these.They're pretty cheap and if you're rough with 'em they will break. Mount 'em properly, keep 'em out of your kids room, use 'em gently and you'll be fine.
