I think this product is fantastic. The wood is very smooth with no splinters, it feels fantastic. I bought this to have a post-op massage after a tummy tuck and liposuction to help with drainage and swelling. You can even reach for your back and do it yourself. However, my 9-year-old autistic son keeps taking it away from me. He has sensory problems and needs additional input. He massages himself or simply rolls wooden beads between his hands. When he needs extra pressure I massage him all over his body and it calms him down a lot. He loves it and so do I. I recommend to everyone.
