I live in a small apartment and they were very nice. I don't like heavy looking furniture and it fits perfectly next to my chair and a half in my living room. I like the stiletto legs and the rounded shape. It's not that big but I use it for coffee and books in the morning and it works great. I put the second one in my bedroom instead of a bedside table. Thanks to the stiletto legs, the furniture appears light and not bulky. The round table could be painted if you wanted but I love the texture of the wood. The table is not heavy but durable. It was pretty easy to assemble. I had a drill and the only thing I have to remember is that the wood is very hard, but if you know how to use a drill you know that you have to drill the screw very slowly until it hits the surface can break through. Directions are so-so, but you can find out by looking. They put very light marks on where the gizmo goes to secure the cleated legs in place. It would probably help if someone held your foot while you drill. I just leaned it against the wall. I definitely recommend them depending on your taste.
