Review on 🛶 Attwood Canoe Carrier Kit 11437-7 by Nikith Brewster

Bought to mount a canoe on my truck's roof rack. I wanted the foam pillows more than the other pieces. Pads are non-slip (almost sticky) and firm enough with cutouts to fit and hold guns in place. They protect my canoe from abrasion on the luggage rack. I have found use for the cords provided which are of good quality, easy to tie, do not slip and easy to untie. The tether supplied is useless and from the instructions it looked like it was meant to be looped around the canoe and in the roof of the car (windows down) with cords attached to the bumpers - can't say it's safe, but for very slow speeds. There is also no way to securely lock any of the retaining components. I added extra ratchet straps that wrap around the canoe and attach to the roof rack. It's the front and rear zip ties that I can tighten, meaning I can ride at any speed.
