The light bar itself is very well constructed and is really bright. It was perfect for what we needed. It was pretty easy to install. After about a month of use, I noticed that half the light kept flashing even though the engine was off. I didn't think about it much because I figured it was residual energy and it would eventually stop. Another month later I was stuck in the mountains of Idaho and my car wouldn't start. After changing my battery and diagnosing with my mechanic, we found that the bar was dead even though it was off. Finally found the culprit, the relay that connects the light bar to the battery was badly rusted. This caused it to draw power even though it was off. Well, after hours of searching, new battery and new relay, it finally worked again. This $100 light bar cost me about $300 now for extra parts/battery and labor.
