Sticky glue on case shows no sign of drying

The hard shell glasses cases seem to be sturdy. I haven't used them long enough to know whether they are going to hold up or not, however. My only complaint is that one pair has some sticky residue around the outside edges where the plastic piece that hold the inside material to the case is located. It gets on your fingers and seems to have no inclination to dry.

It's not sturdy, cheaply made. Won't hold up in a book bag or pocket
