Got them for 139. I always try to get the right sound with the widest range possible without adding a bass driver. I did full soundproofing and foam for the door. the bass is impressive and the tweeters aren't overly bright. It has incredible clarity and yes the lowest frequencies aren't there, but I can say my car rumbles well enough at half volume to be more than happy with it . Please don't take any shortcuts with them when installing, and they will be absolutely spectacular. I can't get past 25/40 on my main unit until it gets too loud for me. They also run directly from the main unit
