Organized with 6 Piece Dish Storage Set - Gray

Overall I'm happy with the price. I use them to organize my dishes and store them in a dresser next to my dining table. They are actually FABRIC, not cheap vinyl. They all have double zippers that meet in the middle, with ties tied to them for easy tugging. The zippers aren't the best quality but they all worked and were all sewn onto the fabric. There were 48 felt dividers as advertised but it was a thin felt not a thicker felt and I thought they were too small but for now they served the purpose. The cup dividers in two rectangular containers were glued to the top of the cardboard to give them a finished look. I will be tracing and cutting some bottoms from the shipping boxes I have saved. As for the sides, I'll try to follow a suggestion I've read to cut out some "foam" posters from the dollar store for extra padded side protection. Or U-Haul sells various sizes of square flat foam sleeves that can work well in these containers instead of using felt dividers that can also provide extra side protection. But for now I just used felt bumpers and cut out some sheets of light weight foam packing material to stuff around the outside edges of the panels to protect the sides. Oh, and I used the smallest container for my fruit/sauce bowls (smallest), so each round container was always a size taller than the plate/bowl I put in, giving me enough room to wrap packing material around the to place containers around. outer edges. I would not use these "as is" tour operators. I would make the "recommended" protective add-ons above and then put the organizers in sturdy "apple" crates (or crates) to transport EVEN in my car with good shock absorbers (not in a truck)! I don't want movers to move my china again because for some reason labels like FRAGILE are unreadable! Also, I read a suggestion to use a large rectangular "goblet" organizer for china supplies, so I gave that a try. and it works great. I was able to fit in a coffee pot, sugar bowl, milk jug, sauce bowl, butter dish, salt and pepper shakers, and two fairly well packaged serving bowls. I have kept the boxes my goblets came in as I think they offer the best protection. I can always decorate the outside of the box with cardboard and fabric or something if I want to make it look better, but for now all I have is a sticker with a picture of what's in the box. I'm happy. I no longer have to unpack everything in the box to find the china I want to use. Everything is organized, easy to find and protected. It probably won't survive an earthquake or a fall, but it's protected from normal everyday knocks, bumps, and dust. And organized!
