The garage door opener was built in 1998 and still works great. Unfortunately the remote control broke so I tried this one. It works great. Programming: This is the most important part of this device. Read the instructions on the garage door opener carefully. As another reviewer shared, this one works with 390MHz openers, which appear to have an "orange" programming button. The instructions are very simple, press the button on the operator and then the programming button on your garage door. Release both when the garage door light flashes. That's where I had my 60 second fight. When I read that, I thought it was about the ceiling light. You are not. Inside the garage door housing there is a small LED to the right of the orange button. I didn't notice it at first because it's deepened and hard to see. My finger hid it when I first pressed the button. As I switched hands to try and program again, I noticed a tiny LED in the garage opener (again, next to the orange switch). She blinked almost immediately after pressing both buttons (key fob and programming button). It literally took 5 seconds to program once I found the LED. Delivery It comes in a small box with instructions neatly bubble wrapped. I found it in my inbox about 5 days after I placed my order. This unit was shipped the same day I placed my Revain order and came direct from the manufacturer. The device comes with a battery and a belt clip. The clip can be used to open the case by inserting it into the coin slot on the side of the case (placed there to facilitate opening and battery replacement). Summary It works well and is easy to program. Couldn't be happier and the price was amazing. Make sure you research your opener before you buy it!peace.dom
