You are connecting 9-24 VDC to two speakers that may be 100W each. This works great with a variety of 2x 6 inch speakers in the wild. You need a DC power supply with fan (200W, ideally 24V > 8A) for full power audio. POSITIVE: The absolute best feature is the brilliant Bluetooth implementation. No delays, interruptions, warnings. Most, if not all, of the information tones are short chirps. It lowers the volume for warnings, doesn't cut the audio stream. Turning the volume knob/potentiometer is smooth and slightly muted. My device had a grating noise from the pan when adjusting the volume with no input, but it was perfectly silent when the audio played. The BT antenna is located at the front next to the volume control on the circuit board. Connect a very thin wire, e.g. a 22-24 AWG twisted pair to the DC power source. Oh well. The wires that power my speakers from this unit are 14 AWG each. Bad place to save. Unfortunately, I plug in my own barrel jack. If you're a consumer who knows how you're going to use this, it's a great piece of engineering, even on the firmware side; You will not be disappointed. If you are a manufacturer, please at least increase the size of the wiring provided.
