I bought this for my mother who requires full care and is bedridden in a hospital bed. Her bed has a plastic mattress and her head is sometimes raised causing her to slide down and need to be lifted. For this purpose I use a large (34" x 52") Priva sheet (which has proven to be a lifesaver so I am including the link Priva High Quality Ultra Waterproof Sheet and Mattress Protector 34" x 52", 8 -Cup added absorbency, 300 machine wash guaranteed) as well as turn over; However, this made it impossible to keep a sheet on her bed. I've been using this as a pad for a few months now and I'm happy to say it's helped a lot. Although it moves and has to be adjusted to remove wrinkles, it has never completely lifted itself from the bed. I also appreciate that it's waterproof and quiet.
