We have a retired large hunting pony who has metabolic issues and sometimes needs to drink buta to relieve his arthritis and leg pain. I don't like using Bute on a regular basis as it also has digestive issues in the stomach, which we also address. It was a great choice for him and didn't cause any indigestion.
