Poor print quality, best for laser printers
I have bought 2 MFCL5900DW, one for me and one for my daughter out of state. Right from the start the first printed page was "dirty", especially at the top. I called my brother 5 or 6 times. The toner cartridge was changed 3 times, the drum 1 time. I did a lot of exercises like cleaning the drum with an alcohol wipe and wiping the toner roller. They only solved the problem temporarily. I still have dirty first and second pages. My 30-day Revain return policy has expired, as has my 90-day Brother supplies warranty. My daughter has the same problem. I cannot recommend this printer. I'll probably give it away and switch to a different brand. If I could bring it back, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
