I purchased one of these for a friend then purchased another one for myself. Neither one of these items held a solar charge. You would have to charge them in "full sun" for 2 days and maybe get 6 hours of light out of the product. Ex; I charged both of these for 2 days "full sun" by 6:00pm the item was lit, however, it only stayed lit until 2:00am and by then it was out. Customer service was great, but, I would have preferred to have the item. When it was lit, it was really neat!

- The solar panels may not charge efficiently in shaded areas or on cloudy days
