Review on π Versatile Thin Parallel Bar Set - 10 Pairs, 1/8" X 6" for Precision Work and Measurement by Darrin Parasson
These parallels are not hardened or tool steel
They are mild steel, maybe CRS, my durometer would not even rate on the lowest Rc scale, tool steel usually gives 15 rc. I tested my scale against the Ram certified standard and was happy. The parallel was about 0.001 inches. not that bad. My complaint is that it is advertised as cured!
