My husband and I have twin beds; one in our master bedroom and one in our semi-trailer. They are very comfortable and we love them, but the customer service in the bedroom leaves a lot to be desired. This is the second time Silver Fish/REM Air has saved me from a major flare up. We moved house last fall and during the move one of the quick release clamps on our air hoses broke rendering our mattress unusable. I immediately called SN support, explained that the only thing that broke was a $0.2 piece of gray plastic in the quick release clamp, and asked for it to be replaced overnight. They say they can't just send me the clamp, they have to send me the whole hose assembly. Good. The first email was sent to the wrong address and this has been corrected. In the meantime, fearing the worst from SN, we ordered connectors from Silver Fish. We're getting parts from Silver Fish, two days of Prime and it's working great and we're sleeping like babies in our bed again. A few weeks later we get a "replacement" from SN only to find that they sent us a brand new pump which in no way solves our problem. I didn't even call back after that. we just swapped out the pumps and returned the "defective" old one, which we really had no problems with. Now the R5 mattress we have in our RV is only losing air in one air chamber and I can tell the air leak is coming directly from the rubber seal around the hose so I'm calling SN and trying to get a replacement chamber. They made me run because I bought their product which they are allowed to sell in the camping world and they have no record of my purchase. I emailed the receipt from Camping World 3 times when they asked for it but for some reason they can't find it. Needless to say I was once again disappointed with their terrible customer service and ended up contacting Silverfish for a replacement. Cal King's camera in her R5, not the usual King. I sincerely think this is part of the problem as the longer hose is forcing the hose fitting against the headboard in the RV and I believe the high compression is what caused the leak in the first place. I end up putting an old towel in to fill the mattress pad and this also protects the junction in my REM airbag so hopefully I don't run into the same problem. This airbag doesn't have a zipper to connect to the other side and prevent separation, but it holds air and that's really what I needed. My bed required a mattress-side male end of the hose, but I happened to have one of the spares we ordered for our home mattress so we were able to easily replace it. However, Silverfish offered the role, which was very nice. I will still call SN and bug them to get me a replacement but as we are going on a trip and need replacement parts quickly this was a great alternative.
