I ordered the black which is very subtle. I have tried many other classes chains with plastic holders and they have all stretched in less than a day leaving my glasses on the floor of the street. These alligator clips are sturdy. They hold my glasses and even held a sign I wore around my neck. In addition they sent me three extra cord glasses lanyards. My only complaint with the chain is that it does get tangled but that is a small price to pay for not losing my glasses.
