Works very well. Excellent quality. I mounted these coils on my VAG 2001 1.8t to replace bad OEM coils. The boot fits snugly on the pegs and is well made. They have enough power, I was able to break my spark plugs (NGK BKR7E) down to .044 with no misfires! Very impressive. You will see many reviews comparing these $18 coils to $600 aftermarket ignition systems. You can also search the forums and find that these coils can be used on many older VAG vehicles like mine with no problem. Once installed you will find that they do not attach to the valve cover like the standard valve covers, but rather fit snugly enough to the end caps to stay in place. However, if you don't like this setup, ecs has beautiful anodized aluminum support brackets made specifically for this application. They are placed on spools and attached to the bolt holes.
