Car like new again

Ordered for my 2010 Jetta Wolfsburg, 2.0TSI engine. There were some minor misfires at around 55,000 miles on hard acceleration which combined with the new Denso spark plugs smoothed things out a lot, the car looks new again! Also, they are red; which automatically makes them cooler than the factory black ones, they are an aftermarket version of the Audi R8 coil straight from Audi, presumably they give a better spark which means they are better if your car has an aftermarket setup too. Works perfectly! Excellent quality! Backlash up to 0.044 without misfiring!

Works very well. Excellent quality. I mounted these coils on my VAG 2001 1.8t to replace bad OEM coils. The boot fits snugly on the pegs and is well made. They have enough power, I was able to break my spark plugs (NGK BKR7E) down to .044 with no misfires! Very impressive. You will see many reviews comparing these $18 coils to $600 aftermarket ignition systems. You can also search the forums and find that these coils can be used on many older VAG vehicles like mine with no problem. Once…

Everything. I would like to share my experience with Standard Motor Products ignition coils for my Audi. Bought 8 rolls in September 2014 because they were cheap. In October, cylinder 1 in bank one began to fail. I took the spool off and replaced it with the original dealer spool which I kept. The car drove well. In November, cylinder 3 began to fail.
