I have a table saw installed on my panel cutting carriage. Most of my projects are 3/4", so the clamps are set up for that. Now there's no offset, so cuts are faster and more accurate without having to manually squeeze the workpiece and board together. Depth adjustment is a little tedious, because you have to loosen and tighten 2 nuts per clamp by trial and error by fiddling with small curved washers, so bearings other than 3/4 take more time to set up. Maybe I'm expecting too much for the price, but the easier adjustment method costs possibly not much more.
