Review on 🔍 CHS 7Ci Blue 1D Imager Barcode Scanner by Dhoal Black

I chose this color because it would be easy to find at checkout. They sent me navy blue instead and I don't even think that color exists based on photos from other vendors and the socket website. That was my first feeling of alienation. But it's also the fourth socket scanner (for the in-store Square checkout) I've had to buy. The first two stopped filing charges in less than a year. The third, the red one, was easy to find but didn't work reliably - sometimes it worked fine, sometimes it said "connected" and didn't scan successfully. We then returned to the second and left it plugged in (not an easy task). With the advent of the last one, they suggested that we use an app to connect it. The app helped, but we're still so frustrated with the randomness of the workplace that I need a new solution to keep my co-workers' heads from exploding. I ask the software provider to help us choose a completely different model. I am so disappointed in this brand I can scream.
