Review on Arlington Adjustable Construction Brackets FBRS4200R, 16-24 Inches by Brent Ayyagari

Turned out I bought the best solution

Fun story to accompany this item. I searched and found this for a project hanging a heavy chandelier. Turns out I didn't need it. I put it in the garage thinking it wouldn't be used. However, another project soon emerged, which involved attaching an existing plastic electrical box to a very thin brace over the existing drywall. This very durable Arlington was the perfect solution for my new ceiling light. Since I used it to replace an existing box in a drywall ceiling, the hardest part of the project was removing the old spacer and box. Incidentally, this must be done with one hand in the existing hole, after removing the old box. However, I got through it. This setup of the best braces and box was the perfect solution. It turns out I still bought the best solution.

Pros
  • PLATE STEEL CONTRICTION - Quick and easy installation on older refurbishment/renovation projects
Cons
  • Out of style
