The Charcoal Baggalini shoulder bag I received was not the one pictured. The picture showed a zip pocket instead of a flap and I received a flap. Obviously, the new style has a fold-over flap and a "drop" top rather than straight across. Although the bag's dimensions state a height of 7 inches, it actually measures just under 5 inches at the center of the bag and 6.5 inches at the edges due to the "recessed" design of the top of the bag. , my slim 8" x 5" journal doesn't fit in a large bag. It only fits on the cover of a check book, lip balm, hand sanitizer and eye drops. I keep it for the built in wallet which has many card slots. I will keep looking for a new bag.
