The original carbon pre-filter for my Honeywell fitted perfectly across the entire filter zone as it had no wrinkles. These replacement filters appear to be of exactly the same quality, but they are rolled up in the packaging, preventing the filter from evenly covering the entire surface. The center section of the filter allows air and dust to pass through the sides of the filter, which obviously causes the HEPA filters near these openings to become dirty and clogged much faster. It would be nice if they came in a box that didn't require folding to pack, but since there aren't any other products that don't require folding or cutting the pre-filter, they're still the best choice these days.
