I bought these for a rug in my living room (fairly high traffic area) that we kept tripping over because one of the corners was twisting. Now that I've applied anti-twist glue the corner itself doesn't curl, but now it's raised and hasn't solved the tripping problem. I am extremely disappointed. I'm giving this item 2 stars (instead of 1) because it basically solves the curl problem, so at least it does it well. It can also be satisfactory for a carpet that doesn't see many pedestrians. But I give it a low rating because it doesn't solve the problem that the folded corner creates: the trip hazard. Maybe it's because of the thickness or the design, but the glue lifts the corner too high. And all it took was one trip over the corner and the glue came loose and the corner folded over again. In the photo, the dark stripe under the carpet is not the adhesive side. it is the shadow cast by a corner of the rug that is lifted off the ground. Maybe it would have been better if it was triangular instead of V-shaped.
