If you are buying this splitter to split your coax cable to use 2 modems from one plug, that's it! My wife has a work from home job that requires her to use internet service and a modem provided by her own company, but we also need our personal internet which happens to be from the same ISP. This splitter works perfectly allowing us to use 2 different modems from the only coaxial internet socket we have in the house, no problem and no loss of speed! We have 300 Mbps and with this splitter I don't lose speed!
