If you buy and use as usual with a hand router and template then you will be happy. I use them on a CNC with software that needs to account for all cutter sizes. The width and depth of the cut is easy to measure with calipers or a microphone, but determining the angle is much more difficult. A 3/8" bit requires a 14 degree angle. When I cut my parts on my CNC, there were gaps that I couldn't explain at first. After scratching my head for a while, I realized the 14 degree angle was wrong. could be done visually with a magnifying glass and protractor. I came up with 10 degrees as the best I could make out. I recut the links with this value instead of the value specified by the manufacturer. Presto! Fits perfectly. So now I have to confirm every corner of the bit in this set. It's a shame, but other than that I'm happy with the cut quality for the price.
