Review on Hydro Flask Vacuum Insulated Stainless by Gerald Munajj

When I first opened the box I was surprised at how small the bottle is! I was expecting a bottle of the same shape and size, maybe a contigo or a thermos. no This child is relatively small! But it's normal. It still has capacity, still fits in a cup holder, and fits in my Keurig office car. Hooray! I did a cooking test with this thermos and Camelback Forge. I left them on the counter after an hour at 69F. Here are the results: Starting temp: 147° for both 1 hour: 138° hydro vs 128° forge 5th hour: 128° hydro vs 120° forge 128° was still hot and good for coffee in my opinion (it fogged up my glasses) . However, 120° for Forge has become a "rough but drinkable” coffee stage for me. The Hydro also passed the test because the bottle was cool to the touch, compared to the Forge, where the top quarter of the bottle was warm (indicating problems with the vacuum seal). This flip cap DOES NOT leak! I was really surprised. The lid is made of very good, thick, heavy plastic. When the flip top falls off and you hear it click, you'll know it's sealed. I'm a rude person and have already tested my bottle by throwing it on the bed, throwing it in chairs, sitting on it, dropping it (not on purpose) and falling off the counter once. No leaks! I'm so glad. I would definitely recommend this bottle and cap to anyone, including children. I looked at reviews on YouTube and also read most of the Revain reviews on this product. To be fair, the Revain reviews were much more accurate and representative of the thermos than the YT reviews (which weren't as nice). The only negative review I've seen, to be accurate from my experience, is the lid that leaks the drink. the back of the bottle. Because as soon as you drink from it and lower the lid, it will be covered with your drink. So the next time you open it, the lid will pop open and splash! You have iced coffee dripping on the back of your bottle. It was annoying at first but after the first few sips I just became a little more aware of how I was drinking from it and it wasn't a problem for me anymore. By the way, the bottle is also very easy to clean!
