I'm very cold. I swim in an indoor pool, which is cool for me (78F) and although I swim vigorously, I literally shake in the middle of my workout. Swimming, which I love, was like torture. I wish I had known about this top a few years ago! I was skeptical but it works. I've used it twice so far. I hadn't washed it the first time, so maybe it was a bit looser, so water seeped in and out during my workout, which meant that while it helped, I still felt a little cold (just less cold than usually). . For the second time - awesome! It was more waterproof and kept me warm throughout my 50 minute workout! Now this really adds a bit of drag. It takes some getting used to and will slow you down. And it becomes a really effective strength training! I hit the wall and now I feel like my muscles are fighting again. For reference, I'm 5ft 2in, 96 pounds, chest 34A, and I have a small. It fits me perfectly. I had to adjust the wrists and neck a bit as I'm very skinny with thin wrists but once you get wet it stays in place. Even when you put it on dry, it feels so cozy and looks cool. I might even use it as a dry fleece top one day.
