We have a ton of iron and sulfur in our well water. I installed this system a year ago. Once received in beaten and battered packaging I was a little skeptical of them. Included plumbing hardware was very short and if you didn’t have both the tanks completely level and extremely close together then the weight of the passing water would cause leakage. Installed new hardware in order to place a larger gap between tanks.Constantly changing pre-filters every two weeks. Wish they offered a larger micron pre-filter. Salt free system seemed to work for a while but no longer works. Instead of buying another system, I went ahead and just bough an actual softener that takes salt. Hard to replace proven technology.At exactly a year uv lamp went out and they make sure you either replace or unplug
