This was the next best option for replacing my original horn on my 248 Four Winns. Installation was fairly easy, and the kit included rubber feet that sat under the mounting plates. I don't expect it to last very long given the price, but if it does, great! Tip: If you want to flip the mount, you can do so. However, you will need to remove the backing as the nuts are very thin on the inside of the horn. The nuts will fall off when you try to remove the bolts. There is a Phillips head screw behind the 12V sticker. Install 6 screws in the front and then one in the back. This will give you access to the inside of the horn. I would still recommend removing the backing so you can run your original wires through the case for a professional looking job. We kept as many wires as possible and coiled the wires inside the case. I definitely recommend looking at heat shrink butt connectors and heat shrink tubing. This may be an extra step, but it should make your cable connection waterproof. Overall I would buy again.
