    Weird trick you can use to make sure this rack works.

    This product has many bad reviews. directions. I am sure? Strange. I read the instructions and recommendations and this rack hasn't cracked my rear window, scratched the car, dropped while driving, it just worked. And worked fine. I hope this review helps others. This shelf is amazing!

    Carrying bikes that cost more than my car with a $40 rack.

    I hesitated to use a roof rack but had no choice as my car cannot use roof racks. I bought a double bike rack and use it to transport mountain bikes with friends or for solo rides. I took the advice of other reviews and wrapped the hooks in tape to prevent scratches and give them a bit more support.     Allen Sport website says this model will not fit Corolla S due to the boot gap on the trunk above the spoiler. I decided to give it a try anyway as the price was very cheap.     This is a appallingly bad porter bikes. I have no idea why others rated it well. Let me be very clear: you will NEVER be able to mount two bikes on this thing.
