This is a good kit but despite the description it is not designed for IP65 silicone coated strips. There are two reasons for this: 1. If you look closely at the pictures you will see that this is a clamp-like connection where the strip slides under the tabs as opposed to barbed wire which slides into each conductor Silicone. Tabs look prickly, but that's not what they're made for. Plus.2. Because the connectors are designed for uncoated strips, they don't even come close to snapping into IP65 strips. This can *kinda* be made to work if you want to use a utility knife to remove the silicone. switched off, but at this point the strip is no longer waterproof. Not to mention there's a good chance you'll cut yourself or damage the strip in the process. (And yes, I know it looks like I'm going to use this with what the 2-pin strip in the picture should be. But it's a GoodEarth brand lightstrip from Lowe's, and for some reason he's using a 4-pin cable to also the back side of the bar 4 separate contacts.)
