I bought these headlights for my lighting project in a '00 Chevy Silverado to place primarily in the instrument cluster. I was able to remove the old 194th bulb (it took a while but my method didn't work) from the twist lock sockets. The cool thing about this is that if you straighten the wires, the wedge's blue plastic base will come loose. This allows me to customize these LEDs so that I can reuse any outlet. These outlets cost $3+. There are even small +pos and -neg markings on the underside of these LEDs. Every LED worked. Blue as hell and I even bought smaller '74' type blue LEDs for the air conditioning, passenger airbag, charge light button and lighting assemblies. I couldn't be happier with my property. All for less than $10.
