It doesn't snap tight enough when installed on a monitor. It moves too easily when adjusting or capping the camera. As a result, I can't use it that way. I have to use a tripod. It's very short, so I adjusted it to something much taller to get the height I wanted. I use this camera at work when I need to record videos. I can get it to work when I need it - if I needed it more often I would have to go the other way.
