Reading the reviews I realized what I had ordered. It was easy to install (it's a solenoid so not really that heavy). Engine started and it started normally. Tried to turn off the engine but couldn't. I had to disconnect the battery to stop the engine. Luckily I work a lot with older cars and know what's going on, but a less experienced person might get frustrated. Important technical note: This is a 4 pole solenoid which means it also supplies 12v to the ignition circuit for easier starting. If your ignition system normally runs at 6V, leaving it at 12V for an extended period of time can damage the ignition coil and other components. Normally, 12 volts is only applied when starting the engine, so the spark plugs spark hotter and the engine starts faster. Spend a few bucks more overall and get a branded engine (like acDelco) and save yourself the potential risk. I give them 2 stars precisely because they arrived very quickly and worked at least once.
