Review on M14-1.50 Magnetic Oil Drain Plugs - A Must-Have for Effective Oil Maintenance by David Hodgson

Revain customized this magnetic oil drain plug to fit my car. I changed the oil and at first it seemed fine. However, within 24 hours I noticed that my car was dripping some oil. I ended up changing the oil earlier than necessary as I had already added a liter of oil after a month of dripping. I kept my original drain plug so I reused it with a new gasket and oil stopped dripping. I had no problem removing the magnetic drain plug and the magnet was still securely in place. No metal shavings or debris were found, which is what I wanted to know as I have only recently purchased this machine. I was comparing two drain plugs side by side and the threads on the magnetic drain plug were a bit thinner so I'm guessing that's why I was dripping oil.
