The timer is not working. I've fixed every possible scenario I could think of to get the timer to work and it doesn't work. Like the other reviewer, I woke up with the lights on. The timer function is the only reason I bought these lamps. Seeing another reviewer had issues with the timer, I made sure to click on it a few times and point directly at the battery. Other remote items I have are blinking and confirming the timer. This set did nothing to confirm the timer. This morning I turned off the TV and pressed the timer button, thinking that the timer button itself is a switch. No, the timer doesn't work like that. So I can say with certainty that the timer function is not working. I'm very disappointed that the timer doesn't work as there were other cheaper kits without the timer function I wanted. I wove light into an existing fall garland. I'm wondering if I should disassemble it to send it back. However, if you need a timer, save yourself the headache and move on.
