Very easy installation. The cartridge has a notch that makes it secure and makes incorrect installation impossible. Also purchase a brass snap ring (9417110) to replace the plastic snap ring and a special tool to remove the snap ring (9500470). Both are for sale here and will likely appear as an offer when selecting a cartridge. The removal tool helps remove the plastic retaining ring without damaging it with pliers and is essential if you plan to reuse the plastic retaining ring. Make sure the o-ring on the old cartridge stays in the faucet body and I had to pry it off with a small screwdriver. Put a drop of silicone grease in the new cartridge, put it back together and you're good to go.
